Advice for visitors
Guests under 16-years-old are not permitted, otherwise the tour caters for all fitness levels, with personalised tours and adventures for groups. Bring along open-minded friends and family members who are ready to adventure through the city and admire art with you. All you need is comfortable shoes, a small backpack, sun block, money for lunch and drinks, and a camera. The tour is fully guided and takes approximately 3-4 hours to complete. Make a note to venture into the heart of the colourful Bo-Kaap for a traditional Boboti for lunch. Be sure to end the tour with a stop in at the recently opened &Bikes Café and Cycle Boutique working in conjunction with Baseline Coffee from Woodstock. Here you will find delicious coffee, awesome cycle gifts, t-shirts as well as custom city bicycles.

Bikes ‘n Wines provide a carbon negative touring service. This is a phrase used to describe any activity that removes more carbon from the atmosphere than the average person is responsible for making. The business aims to absorb all of the environment’s beauty without releasing harmful pollutants. This is achieved through the use of public transport and bicycles, as well as other recycling initiatives. Bikes ‘n Wines also actively takes part in CO2 removal by donating a tree for every 10 riders on tour through their partnership with local sustainability initiative, Green Pop.
