OVERVIEW
Le Bonheur Reptiles and Adventures, home of the captive-bred bask of the African Nile crocodile, offers daily guided croc pond tours. You can view crocs of various ages, before getting an up-close view of the fascinating reptiles underwater via a subsurface viewing cabin. Crocodile cage diving experiences are also available daily, offering an unforgettable close encounter.
You can also enjoy one of two snake shows (12:00 and 15:00) held on Saturdays, Sundays and public holidays which showcase the park’s growing snake collection. The park also boasts several other activities which can be enjoyed by the whole family:
- Great food including wood-fired pizzas
- Picnics on the lawn
- Self-catering waterside braais
- Catch and release bass fishing
- Rowboat rides
All these activities make this a destination well worth setting aside a few hours for. Alternatively, you can stay over! Guests can decide to stay over in one of the four waterside self-catering accommodation units available.

THINGS TO KNOW
ADVICE FOR VISITORS
The crocodile park is an ideal family destination – The park offers kids’ parties, a fun ride on the Crocmobile, and informative, interactive tours. For the adults, the park is the perfect function venue or getaway with adventurous friends.
You could turn it into a weekend of wining, dining, and picnics on the lawn, with a daring twist, should you opt to stay over.
Tours are conducted every 45 minutes, and in summer we make a point of including a croc feeding component on the 11:15 and 14:15 tours.
