How does City Pass work?
Your City Pass is an iVenture ‘smart card’ – like a credit card with a computer chip inside – which allows you completely cash-free entry or access to your choice of top experiences in Cape Town. iVenture is the company that manufactured you card.

Purchasing and using your Cape Town City Pass is a simple process
1. Select Your Pass
Select the Pass type that suits you best, between Flexi Pass, the Unlimited Pass and the Unlimited Premium Pass. A comparison of the different City Pass packages is available here. Note that there are Adult (18 years and over) and Child (4 to 17 years) prices are available.
Your City Pass offers access to 60+ attraction experiences in Cape Town, as well as a number of specials for restaurants and high end shops.
2. Purchase Your Pass
You can buy your pass online. We accept credit cards, Paypal and South African electronic fund transfers (EFTs).
You then get an email receipt and an ‘activation code’. You can now go and collect your City Pass iVenture Card from any collection point in Cape Town. Details of all collection points are printed on your receipt (see list of collection points). Please remember that you are required to bring with you your receipt of purchase and present it to the staff at the collection point. Please allow 24 hours from the moment of purchase for your Cape Town pass to be available for pick up.
3. Plan Your Itinerary
Using our top menu you can view our range of experiences according to your interests and travel destination. And our user friendly, online interactive map will help you plan your itinerary. Your Pass will also come with an easy-reference, experience guide so you can plan your itinerary on the go.
4. Use Your City Pass iVenture Card
Present your iVenture card on arrival at participating operators. Simply swipe your card and you’re in! Please read the Terms and Conditions.
