HISTORY
The first Moyo restaurant opened in 1998 in Johannesburg. Today there are five Moyo restaurants across South Africa, all housed in iconic landmark sites including Ushaka Marine World in Durban, Moyo at Melrose Arch and Zoo Lake in Johannesburg. The Kirstenbosch Moyo is especially unique, as it is situated in stunning gardens that are considered by many to be among the best in the world.

that the Kirstenbosch Botanical Gardens lies in the heart of the Cape Floral Kingdom. This region was declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 2004. Kirstenbosch is the first botanic garden in the world to be included in a World Heritage Site. Kirstenbosch is also part of a nature reserve containing a protected mountainside that is home to fynbos, animals and birds.
